The fine dry-mist is made of aerosolized hydrogen peroxide (AHP) that is dispersed throughout the treated area, helping it reach areas that are often harder to treat with traditional surface-only cleaning methods, without leaving behind any residue or excess moisture. STEP 3

Room-by-Room Treatment

Each room is treated individually using the treatment level selected during booking. A clearly marked notice is placed at each completed doorway with the designated re-entry time.

STEP 4

Posted Re-Entry & Completion

Re-entry begins 30-45 minutes after each treated room is completed. Once the posted re-entry time has passed and the treatment is complete, the room is ready to be used again.

Materials with deep or repeated urine saturation, such as carpet, carpet padding, subflooring, drywall, or furniture, should be sealed or replaced before scheduling a MistMD treatment.

Yes. MistMD dry-mist service works best when the home, apartment, or business has been physically cleaned before treatment.

The dry mist is designed to treat exposed surfaces and the space itself. If heavy dust, dirt, debris, or loose particles are present, the mist may settle onto those particles instead of cleaned surfaces, minimizing its effectiveness.

This is not a normal issue when the service is performed in a cleaned, non-dusty space.

For best results, please remove visible dirt, excessive dust, trash, debris, and clutter before your appointment.

Water is not required for a MistMD dry-mist service appointment.

However, electricity does need to be turned on and working so we can operate our equipment during service.

Please make sure the treatment areas are accessible, unoccupied, and that working electrical outlets are available before we arrive.

Most appointments take 1–3 hours, depending on square footage and the treatment level you select. Re-entry times are posted room-by-room during service.

Yes. MistMD uses an eco-friendly hydrogen peroxide solution that breaks down into water and oxygen without leaving harmful residue behind. People and pets must remain outside each treated room until its posted re-entry time has passed, typically 30 to 45 minutes.

MistMD typically begins treatment in the furthest part of the home. As treatment continues, earlier rooms may become available for use once their re-entry times have passed.

MistMD treats one room or treatment area at a time. During treatment, that room or area must remain unoccupied by people and pets.

People and pets should stay out of each treatment area during service and until the listed re-entry time has passed.

Most re-entry times are approximately 30–45 minutes, but timing may vary by treatment area, room size, humidity levels, and service treatment type.

MistMD will clearly mark the re-entry time on a door hanger for each room during your service appointment.
